Welcome to Temple Beth Israel of Highland Park and Eagle Rock! We're glad you're here.

We are a diverse community of families and friends, making modern traditions out of one of LA's oldest continuously operating synagogues right in the heart of Highland Park.

Learn about our history

Our home is right beside the Gold Line near the 5, 110, and 134 freeways; our members come from all over the Eastside and the San Gabriel and San Fernando Valleys, as well as nearby schools like USC, CalTech and Occidental College.

Plan a visit

All genders participate fully in all activities; children are welcome, and so is everyone else including interfaith and same-gender families, out-of-town guests and curious visitors.
